i have a camaro z28 and i was thinking about puting a stroker kit in my lt1
and i wanted peoples opinion on what they think things are that i should do and also things that i shouldnt do. i was also thinking about going boosted later on down the road but im not sure on that one yet. so give as much input as possible and give me some number as to what i could be looking at as far as horsepower goes unboosted.

Well a stroker isn't gonna do anything for your horsepower. Power is made through the heads and valvetrain. Strokers are only gonna give you torque, which is the seat of the pants power you can feel.

there are many heads and cam packages that have surpassed the 400 RWHP mark; Its all in the correct/best combination of parts.... You can take a look at some of Lloyd's proven packages that many people on this board and others are running... www.eportworks.com

What he said. If I could do it again I would try some AFR 227's and a 245/255 or so hydraulic cam (with a rev kit of course). But then again I tend to sway to the extreme a little.
