Default meziere leaking

i bought a used meziere EWP last week, installed it over the weekend.
sometimes when the car is running but it is most noticeable when i turn the car off. the MEZIERE is leaking outta a hole on the bottom of it. i think it is the weephole from what i have been told.
when i bought it there was the black gasket/seal that sat between the wheel and the motor. that was dryrotted. i caulked that and thought i made a tight seal.
anyone have any ideas? is the MEZIERE bad? just need caulked? what are your thoughts?

I know when I did my CSI (no CSR) ewp, it came with a brass freeze plug to plug off the weep hole. I think you need to pull it all back off, take it somewhere that sells freeze plugs and get the right size for it.

the freeze plug size was 1 1/8th. it fit snug. is there one that goes inside the meziere? if so that would be my problem!
the freeze plug i put in went inside the stock WP housing, to cap it off from the cam.

If the pump is working correctly, nothing will ever exit the weep hole. That's a good indication that something's wrong. I have a CSI and never put in any brass plug, but my coolant level's been constant for 5,000 miles.
