Rotate/Remove Coolant Tubes on Water Pump?

This tube interferes with my blower brackets. Can it be rotated to face downwards without any leaks? Or, can it somehow be removed and reinstalled, or a new one installed, facing another direction? Worst case scenario I'll have it cut off and a -AN fitting welded onto it, but that really is a last resort.

It is press fit in, if you turn it, you may loosen the press and it will leak. My idea would be to pull it out, tap the pump and put in a 90 degree fitting that is threaded on one end and tube fitting on the other. Face it down and you will be ok. I pulled them out, tapped them and put in plugs since I don't have heat.

This coolant line goes to the oil cooler from what I can tell, the one on the left was already plugged by the previous owner. Which ones connect to the heat, the one on the left, correct?
