True duals sound wicked mean too, but they tend to have more of a "racier" sound to them in the high rpms whereas the GMMG just sounds like an old classic muscle car... 
I know this is all personal opinion, but Borla has the raspiest, crappiest sound I've ever heard with headers, no cats (cats aren't much better), and internal engine work.
LT1, LS1, it doesn't matter to me...I just don't like the sound of that exhaust (same with the Loudcrap) once you start getting some more airflow through it...

I have an old-school muscle car and I have yet to hear any cat back on an LT1 or LS1 sound anything like it.
