you'll make the most power with borla IMO.

 

Power difference would be negligible IMO from catback to catback, especially on bolt-on cars. FWIW true duals or the GMMG would probably make more power at topend thana Borla would.

I love my Borla Exhaust..im also gonna leave the stock manifolds on the car and buy a 3" Borla Y pipe which should change the sound also

 

Borla is the best looking and sounding catback you can put on an LT1 car IMO.
The Mufflex and GMMG are a close second if you have longtubes.

GMMG is the cleanest, DEEPEST tone you'll get with headers at WOT...Nothing is deeper when you get on it. True duals sound wicked mean too, but they tend to have more of a "racier" sound to them in the high rpms whereas the GMMG just sounds like an old classic muscle car...

I know this is all personal opinion, but Borla has the raspiest, crappiest sound I've ever heard with headers, no cats (cats aren't much better), and internal engine work. LT1, LS1, it doesn't matter to me...I just don't like the sound of that exhaust (same with the Loudcrap) once you start getting some more airflow through it...

 

Pizza is available in many styles for a reason.

I have an old-school muscle car and I have yet to hear any cat back on an LT1 or LS1 sound anything like it.
