Bad Misfire
Bad Misfire I have a 1997 Z28SS and it has a bad misfire. I ran a code scanner on it yesterday and it read (bank 2 sensor 1) CKT no activity I believe the code was P0154 I think then it read another P0300 and that was Random/Multiple cylinder misfire detected. I'm not sure if started doing it a little after I ported my MAF sensor. The symptoms are in park sometimes idles very low at 550 or 600 RPM's and misfires. In drive it misses out when stopped then I take off and smoothes out. Recently it's been missing really bad while driving and won't let me accelerate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You've probably been running too rich for too long. I'm guessing your plugs will be pitch black when you look at them. Also, check your o2 sensors.
If you did not retune your engine when you ported and installed your MAF, it could have caused your fuel/air ratio to go up to high.

is it hot outside? I just had the same issue, when the engine bay got hot. My ICM sensor was bad, and was getting too hot. Search on the web, there's a mod that helps it stay cooler.
