383 LT1 what is ring gap
383 LT1 what is ring gap I am building me a 383 LT1 and plan on using a 200-250 shot of nitrous, so if my 383 with new heads and cams was to make 400, I would be between 600-650 horsepower range with the nitrous. I am confused on what exactly ring gap is? I think it is how for the ring is from the cylinder wall. Can someone help me out? Also do I need to set the ring gap a certain way for this big of a shot of nitrous? Also with rings to you recommend for me. Thanks for any help.

Call the manufacture of the piston you bought and ask them for there recomendation I called the folk at srp when i bought mine they told me .22 both top and bottom ring but i stuck with the recomendation on the rings them self for my intended use 21-23 top ring and 24-26 bottom
