Torque Converter
i went friday to pick up my car from my mechanic(valve springs) and while i was there i had asked him why was my car taking off so slow ,he responded that he drove the car and that it was the torque converter.he told me the stall is about 3600 and that why it was taking off so slow.he said so it could take off faster i need to go down between 2200-2600,transmission was rebuilt about 3 months ago,before transmission went out car was f**king FAST!!! now it's pretty slow! car wont even peel out at all at dead stop.RACED A 02'CAMARO SS (M6) WITH SLP PACKAGE YESTERDAY ,CAMARO PUT BUSSSSSS LENGHTS ON ME FIRST AND SECOND TIME!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY CAR!

I am not sure we have all the story here. How hi does your car rev before it moves?
if all was well before the rebuild i would guess some thing changed then...like maybe they rebuilt the converter and got the Stator in backwards. This will make even the best setup a dog...

It Revs Up 3500 Rpm's Maybe 4000 And Then It Begins To Take Off But Sloww. Like I Said Before Car was Fast Before The Rebuild.so What Stall Do U Guys Think I Should Go With>>stock Stall? Or Like A 2200-2600?

It's not that it shouldn't move till 3500 rpms. On a 3200 converter, I only saw 2100 on slicks with the brake on, but when I put the throttle to the floor it immediately jumped up to right around 3300 rpm. A lower stall will not help your car go faster...something else is messed up and causing it to be a dog.

Had Transmission Rebuuilt A Regular Mechanic Shop.and When I First Got Car Back From The Mechanic First Gear Wasn't Kicking In,took Car Back And They Told It Was Because The Wiring Harness Wasn't Connected Right.mechanic Finally Connects Wiring Harness .but To Me It Feels Like There's Something Wrong With First Gear
The shop didn't do something right. If they rebuilt that tranny you should have no problems at all. I would demand them to take it out and look at it for free and fix anything they forgot to do or did a sloppy job of.
But The Motorsports Place I Got My Valvesprings Done In Said That The Transmission Was Rebuilt Good That It's The Torque Converter, Can A Bad Torque Converter Cause It To Take Off Slow?

Either the sprag let go in the converter or the trans is not taking off in first gear 
Does the car shift? do you hear or feel it shift in all four gears. I have a Yank 3,800 in my car an I can STILL tell when it shifts every gear.
If it is not shifting down to first you will get the results you are getting. It 'Could" be your converter...but I dought it

from a dead stop it just revs to 3000-3500 rpm's then it starts to move slow but once it shift's into 2nd it starts to move faster.when it hits third u could hear my car because it's LOUD but the car doesn't move fast. my car hasn't the same after the tranny got rebuilt
