Default cutout placement

im gonna be purchasing a cutout(s) soon, i have pacesetter LT's and a 3" y-pipe. Do you guys know if the exhaust sounds any differentor better when dumped if you have one cutout at the back of my 3 inch y-pipe, or would it sound better if i have a cutout at the bottom of each header on both sides of the y-pipe. they're gonna be manual cutouts so i dont mind spending the extra 30 bux if its gonna sound and flow better.

shouldn't change that much....only difference would be that the cutouts at the end of the header would be louder inside of the car, than it would be if placed at the end of the y-pipe.

I stuck mine right at the end of the y pipe as well, it fits right in there and fits right into the catback system. You might need to get a reducer pipe if you need to cut the catback system to fit inside the cutout.

Haven't bolted my y pipe up yet, but should be sweet!

I put mine in just before the over the axle pipe. There's a dip in the floor pan where it tucks in nicely.
