Enigine Shaking help
Enigine Shaking help To try to make this quick I started the car warmed it up a little. Drove about 2 miles and started having problems. the car wouldnt go right unless I gave it alot of gas then she go like normal. I got back home and turned the car off poped the hood and turned the car back on. ran ok for about 2 min the it started shaking and sounded like it was gonna stall. I have no ide what the problem is. Anyone have any ideas. Thanx

ICM or Opti. When the opti on my 93 went out it didnt throw a code as far as a check engine light but once i pulled the codes from the data port there was a code for no low resolution pulse from the opti. and it did the same thing your describing, once the car warmed up it would start breaking up and shaking then die. Have you pulled you codes?

It just happened so I havent pulled the codes yet. how much did it cost to fix
i beleive the 95 and up is the vented opti so you can get it for for under $300 from Sam Taylor Buick. if you do it yourself your set if not a decent shop would probably charge another 250-300 for the labor. pull your codes first and figure out for sure
