I have a similar problem with my 93 but it only happens if I wash heavily underhood or hit a huge puddle and spray water everywhere -- then it just doesn't run period. It'll start and run after about 5 minutes though. I think my problem may have more to do with where I mounted my MSD box rather than issues with the optispark getting wet.

I am in the process of changing out my optispark entirely and the waterpump which was leaking above it. You probably have gotten water in it and their is still moisture inside. Mine was rusted out on the inside and I was having the same problems. I have a 92 LT1 vette with 115,000 on it. I found a new one at JEG's for 379.99 brand new. The remanufactured ones don't come with the cap and rotor which cost over 200.00. I've read on it and I guess the water drains out eventually if your lucky. Hope this helps.
