Default timing chain question

for those of you who switched to electric water pumps and went with a regular double roller timing chain set is there any perticular timing set or other parts that i need to get or will any standard sbc double roller timing set work

i just got my water pump and want to order my timing set and make sure i get everything i need the first time around

Now keep in mind this depends on what year LT1 you have...93-94 or 95-97?
If 95-97, this will work for you: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...=egnsearch.asp

Don't buy anything more expensive, all else is a rip off. There are TONS of timing sets out there, but this Summit is just as strong. BTW, the LT4 timing chain set is the worst deal on the internet, IMO. Another case of GM craftmenship at is finest...or most expensive.

do you HAVE to remove the wp drive gear and plug the timing cover? I didn't think you did...I still have my gear spinning freely and plan on putting in a double roller timing chain here in about 5 days.
