wow i come to this board maybe twice a month but everytime i come i see another lt vs ls thread why is that?

omg here we go again! Looks both are great motors and both can run awesome numbers if you mod them. The LS1 is newer, thus slightly more power and different features. Personally i use to own an LS1, loved it and will buy one in while when inssurance goes down. My favourite is the GTA, L98 engine, but i also highly regard the LT1 for its strong iron cast motor, the awesome sound it produces and the simular low end torque to the L98 that it produces at low rpm. Anyways, there's been a lot of threads on this...so dont be surprised if people start a war on this.

This topic has been discussed a 1000 times before and time and time again, it's been unanimously agreed that the LT1 kicks @ss. Eveybody knows that. Get with the program !!

I own a LT1 and LS1. I can say what I love about each one.

LT1 - Sound of exhaust, torque, tough iron block, affordable to mod
LS1 - Smoothness, higher HP, lighter, revs quicker

These are just a few of the things that I love about each.
