Default LT1 motor and 78 350

i have a 78 4 bolt main block in my garage i have thought about building but i was wondering if everything off of my lt1 motor would fit on it. any info please.

no. it will not work without some serious machining

These are some of the differences that would take machine work and/or fabricating. Water passages are different in the block and heads, LT1's are reverse flow cooling. Not sure if the water pump passages are different but it's gear driven on an LT1. Optispark turns off the cam, it's behind the water pump. LT1 has a one pice rear main seal. Just put some 4 bolt main caps on the LT1.
