thinking about going turbo

thinking about going turbo i came across a good deal on a FFF kit..on another board..ive never even dealt with a turbo or sc so i have no idea how to rig either up..i do no how to setup an engine for one but as far as plumbing etc..couldnt tell you the head from the ***..so first off what is better sometihng like a procharge or the FFf turbo kit?
if i go fff i will only get the 7psi version..it says it made like 530tq..is that on stock motor or what?..if stock what will i make hp/tq wise when i add my head/cam package,the headers,fipk, etc..
i decided on teh edelbrock performer package..not many people round here used it..and ive always used edelbrock stuff..i no lt4 conversion makes a few more ponies than edelrock ive doen teh research however thats my gameplan...
so what is better procharger or FFF?...what will fit my setup best..and is it best to wait until i have teh 383 in there or can my stock bottom handle teh 7psi??..also what little **** needs replacing?
