Default Fianlly got to the track

Well hit BMP today and had some fun. Yes the tranny held, lol! Well it was steaming hot and Gator and I lost 5 lbs of water each, lol! Only got three runs due to OTHER cars breaking. One was a red light I did not bother to pick up a slip for mph was 113 according to Gator, So here are the numbers.

1st run 60-1.855 rolled into it.
1/8 8.003@89.96
1000 10.429
1/4 12.445@ 111.59

3rd run 60-1.78 was not able to stall it up red lighted prior to this.
1/8- 7.898@88.71
1000-10.301
1/4 12.308@112.06

So all in all I am OK with this since they were my shake down runs. some things Gator noticed about my runs , stall not holding me in the RPMS??? Breaking uo in high RPMS. So the car goes in for some tranny gimmicks Monday with a real stall etc.. I will have MR Formato look at the tune ASAP and hope to get the intake ported soon. So some bugs to resolve and hope to get that 11 second pass on motor , also will wait for better weather.

Thanks to Scotty foe hooking me up with the MT DR's, Thanks to Kyle for changing a busted back homies tires and thanks to Gator for figuring out what the hell the driver was doing wrong as well as the car, yeah the driver needs alot of seat time!!

What cam are you running? Heads? Your mph seems low to me for a 396 LT4.

Cam is 238/234 615 lift heads felber racing. MPH sucked due to the converter dropping RPMS from 1st to second gear. plus it was 120% on the track yesterday and that metal intake was not liking it, there were cars 2-3 mph slower than norm and slower et's. Car has yet to be tuned way to rich!

Get that thing running right. You should have way more mph than that! 11's are gonna be there with new converter and tune.

track temps was in the area of 126 degrees. i am sunburnt like hell (and i am a florida boy).

mph and et will improve with a good convertor. the convertor in his car is a stock restall. vigilanti is coming up. also these were shakedown runs. not bad at all IMO. he was trapping 113.x mph the pass before but tripped the beams on the launch.
