ive set up my rockers 1/2 turn past zero lash, engine off. they seem to be alot louder than stock. so i took my driver side cover off and tightened up the rockers 1/4 turn more. i dont think it changed the sound at all. does anybody have a sound clip of their rockers.

valvetrain info:
comp replacement lifters
comp pro mags 1.6
comp hardened pushrods
comp 918 springs w/ steel retainers
comp 230/236
GM guide plates

 

no sound clip. but 1.6 roller rockers will be a little noisier. if you feel you did something wrong, loosen them all the way up and start over. check for bent pushrods, too. did you soak the stuff in oil before starting(lifters, p/rods, and rockers)?

 

im just gonna adjust them with teh car running.

 

Anyone have any good sites for changing valvetrain parts as well as putting heads and all back on. A site that is sort of a reference to doing it. Information like you posted about soaking the parts in oil etc...
