throttle body

it kind of depends on what other mods you have, more or less, does the motor need or will it benifit from more air coming in? i had one on my orgional motor and the *** dyno felt like the car had more response, when i put one on the new motor i could tell a huge difference but thats a large displacement high compression motor with an open exhaust and ported intake and heads. bla bla bla...... just get it, it may help you down the road.

unless you have more then stock CI's, or a head and cam package. You don't need it. A LOT of people go too big on the TB's and it ends up doing nothing or hurting them. If you go too big you just end up maxing out your airflow at a lower throttle position.

the best way to see if you need a bigger TB is to measure how much vaccum u have at WOT. That's a good indication of a intake restriction, and I'm still willing to bet anyone a 48mm TB will start to develop vaccum above 4800rpm

How many hp should a 58mm tb give someone like me? I saw on the holy website they picked up 9rwhp with a 58 on a stock motor
Im running the stock TB no airfoil right now
I have max ported stock heads, (still stock valves though which ill be switching out when I get back), a comp 236/242 .555/.576, open long tubes, and 355ci, spinning it to 6,500 on average.
