Default best power adds

alright guys, i have a 97 z28 (lt1), i need a new set of cylinder heads and i want to know which set would be the best? i heard that trickflow heads were great power adders, but i wasnt sure. also i want to buy a new cam with it to, and i dont know how big of a cam i can get without killing the motor. and if anyone has done any mods to a 97 z28, let me know how much power you gained from it. help me guys.

first off, a cam won't kill the motor, it'd be what RPM you'd rev the motor to to make full use of the cam. Check out an LE1 package from Lloyd Elliot, I've heard awesome things about them and will be running an LE2 on my next LT1.

Trickflows are for use with power adders or strokers, they would drop compression on an otherwise stock motor not what you want to be doing when adding a cam. I am in no way saying they are bad heads just totally the wrong way to go for what you are asking. The stock castings can be ported well enoiught o support all but the wildest 350s so stick with them and look at eportworks.com

Go with the LE2 heads.
