help with 1991 corvette

Ive got a buddy that has put basically anything you can think of, into a 1991 Corvette, heads, cam, built bottom end, headers, exhaust, etc.

Now the tune is really off and he doesnt know how to get it tuned.

What can be done to fix the tune on this car?

1991 LT1 Vette

Is there a programmer for it somewhere or anything like that?

uh, well.. first problem is that there was no LT1 motor in a 91 vette. They started in 92

a chip has to be burned on a '91, you can't tune it. most programmers can do it, send them ALL info on the car and they'll send you one in the mail.

youll need a chip even if its a 92. your going to need a chip for that year car even if its an L98 which is what was in the 91s. if the LT1 ws put into the car you need to know what year ECM is controlling the engine. if its a 94 and up then youll need a program not a chip. either way its a custom job not a store bought thing.

is it indeed an LT1 car or an L98 TPI car? if its an LT1 engine what year is the ECM controlling the LT1? this is the info that matters on what tunning will be needed.
