gear drives??
In the question of a gear drive ...I would believe that it would be to noisy for the knock sensor...
I would also like to know if this is possible in a 94 Z-28 350 LT-1....if so I would be installing one...
I had one in another car and loved the sound and the look's I got as I drove the car

Of course, anyone with a non-vented opti would have to convert to a vented opti setup, since you can't find a gear drive set with a cam gear that is keyed for the splined non-vented opti shaft. Also, as mentioned, an electric water pump is neccessary - you can't find a gear drive set with a cam gear that has the stock water pump drive sprocket on the back. Lastly, you'll have to do some serious grinding on the inside face of the timing cover to clear everything. Which means you'll need to grind and test fit till it works or till you grind through the cover
I though about trying it earlier this year when I pulled apart my motor, but the double roller I put in about 2 years ago, seems to be holding up fine..
