My friend asked me if a small block out of my 78 camaro would go into his 97 T/A with LT1 he wants to use only the block from my motor and the heads and intake off the lt1 does it all bolt up ive never been up close to a lt1 block out of a car does it have the same motor mounts?

not even close. the LT1 is a gen 2 block and has a lot of differences. like reverse flow cooling, front of the cam driven distributer, gear off the cam driven water pump, the heads dont have coolant crossovers, etc....

the motor mounts are similar, not sure if they are the same.
