Question Is it ok to remove the oil pan windage tray?

Is it ok to remove the windage tray ?

Will it make any change in the oil presure?

What are you looking to do? I know a lot of guys maybe all with strokers have to not put it back in or use something else. The stock oiling system is actually fairly good and if staying with a 350 I wouldn't screw with it too much.

Well if you go stroker, I would recommend getting the Canton F body pan. It's 6 quarts and deep enough for a stroker crank. Thunder has them for about $300. By removing the windage tray, you're gonna get some crank slosh and the oil is gonna foam up and your oil pressure is gonna drop.

keep it on there, your crank will slap around in the oil otherwise and rob you some power, along with foaming the oil. its not hurting anything, weighs nothing, slows nothing down, and does a good job keeping oil from spashing on the crank. i dont see any reason to remove it to be honest.
