I'm gettin closer everyday to having it back on the road. I've got all the brackets welded up on the 9, gears and locker in the third member and waiting on the moser axles, should be here monday. I just got done making the inserts on the lathe this afternoon, this is what I have left to do..........

Cut tubing for the ladder bars
Weld in the inserts for them
Drill and tap the inserts for the rod ends
Fab and weld up the brackets for the ladder bars
Sandblast the housing and primer it then paint it
Then put it all together and tear up the road!

Tell me what you think about this, I'm painting the rear black and the ladders will be red (because the LCAs I already have are red). I'm thinking about pissing off the ford guys by painting a big red bowtie right in the center of the rear on the back of it, and possibly a "heartbeat" on each axle tube, sound good??
