Default How many teeth on M6 flywheel?

Reason I wanna know is I am going auto so I wanna make sure my starter is gonna work. I still have the stock unit. I thought flywheel was 153 tooth but I was looking at a flexplate I saw on Ebay that said it was 168.

Got to looking around and what little info I found seems to say that the LT1 starters are compatible with both tooth configurations. Soemone chime in if I am wrong.

If you saw a "flexplate" on e-bay, thats the technical name for the flywheel for a car with an auto tranny- so it probably is different.
Flywheel= manual tranny
Flexplate= auto tranny

Yes I know that. What I was getting at was deciding if the auto flexplates had 168 and the manual flywheels had 153. I wanna make sure my M6 starter is the same as an A4 starter. I was looking at flexplates cuz I need one.

Both have either a 153 tooth flex plate or flywheel depending on it's transmission.
