Default cars dead again need advice and help

ok heres the deal......i have a 96 z28 that i had a 383 built for...after i got the engine in the opti died on me so i replaced it....at the same time i tested and tried replacing the coil and icm and they seemed to be fine.......well the car ran fine but always had a top end stumble.....throughout the next few months i replaced and checked all plug wires and plugs many times since i was always having problems with them thanks to headers and engine bay heat...well finally got the car running bettere then ever with the final plug wire and plug job and all hell broke loose......the car was runnin great till my opti blew again...this time the rotor screws came out and the opti looked pretty beat up....i put in an opti from summit and wow the thing woke right up like a new car....well now for the prob.......the very next day on the new opti it died and seemed to do the same thing as the last time.....i have good spark at the plugs/good fuel and pressure/pulse at the injectors but it wont start.............i'm trying the icm first and the tearin the opti out again to see if thats it...if it is the opti can anyone tell me what might be blowin them apart now...and help or suggestions will b great

for the no start use this.

for the opti troubles, check the cam dowl pin length. My money is on it being too long and killing the opti.

did you take out the rotor screws and locktight them then put them back in

if you put the opti on straight out of the box that is a very common problem those screws will come loose
