Default Callaway heads

While my headgaskets been blown, the mechanic Im using has pulled a callaway corvette engine out because it snapped the crankshaft. its a c4 vette. I was wondering if these sick heads would work on my car, i was told that they might be a bigger chamber size and that might make me lose compression. anyone got any knowledge it would be greatly appreciated. the heads have roller rockers, d-ported , and polished if that helps. They also have 2 bent valves.

I would have been for sure that if it were a Callaway corvette, It would have most likely been based on the ZR1 platform with the LT-5 engine. Im not sure how many Callaway LT1(LT4) were built. I guess it really depends on how much he wants for them and what work need to be done to them. If it were me, I would take them to a machine shop first and get a second opinion.

Callaway was working on these engines how many years ago now?????? A lot of places could outdo their old work these days for less money not that Callaway is bad people have just now had time to really learn about these heads. They might be decent but don't make yourself believe they are the ultimate or anything. Find out what casting they are, if it is an LT1 casting then make sure you are paying less than what you could get yours done for. if another casdting look into that casting and still make sure what you are paying for is used heads.
