Update on my LT1
Update on my LT1 Got a call from the shop today. Apparently, water was sucked through my K&N intake during the heavy rain I was stuck in, went into my engine. . .and caused a rod to bend. The block is scarred. . . 
Anyone knows the cheapest places to get realiable LT1 shortblocks?

Thats why i have never used a K & N and never will, especially cause I live in the pacific northwest where i think rain was invented. BUt yes, golen engines is the absolute best place. I just bought a long block from them and they have excellent customer service. They can build you anything you want. Also chad (the owner) is the only person who takes orders and he talks to you for like a hour to make sure u get exactly what u want and need. Which is awesome and rare to find now a days. PLus his engines have lifetime warrenties which you will not find anywhere period.
I took some pics of my new engine and car the other day so i will try to post them soon for all you guys to keep you updated. My computer is not working very good though so i only have my sisters old windows 98 computer right now lol.
