My friend gave me a "hurst short throw" that came stock on his 2001 SS. i know the lever is the same or it looks like it is but is the shift mechanism different. Wanted to know before i went ahead and did it. My gates also feel loose so maybe changing will at least help that. Thanks for any help.

 

Unless yours is an ss the hurst shifter would be a nice upgrade from the stock shifter. It should tighten up your shift throws nicely.
