Default Clutch Pedal

I installed my SPEC Stage III last week and I have put about 150 miles on my car. Since the install, my clutch pedal engages higher than it used to and I was just actually noticing it the other day that not long after it engages the pedal is all the way up. Is this normal to have the pedal higher with an aftermarket clutch, or is something not right with the shift fork or throwout bearing or something? My main concern is that I just want to make sure Im not driving around with a partially disengaged clutch. When I came home from school today I was going about 40 mph and I put it in 6th and gassed it and it didn't slip or anything, but I just wanted to get your guy's ideas. Thanks.

On my spec stage 3 it does not like reverese a lot you have to give it gas a lot more and the clutch requires more gas....

Yeah, I kinda found it out the hard way. It's really hard to "creep" slowly with it. I tried it in the drive thru two days after I put it in and it almost bucked me out of the car.

Dude i have the stage two and i have this problem.

Yeah things are a little more touchy with clutches that grab more. Thats why i dont want any of my family to even try to move my car. High performance is made to grab and go.

Did your engagement point raise after you installed your clutch?

why did you go with the stage 3....are you planning more mods than in your sig? your pedal change is normal with any new clutch...it will wear down little by little over time

It engages down closer to the floor. Like said any clutch change should bring it closer down for engagement.
Did you get your flywheel machined? If so how much did they take off.
