OPTI Questions
I need some guidance if possible, I have a '94 Z which has been highly modified 550 HP. The opti has been upgraded by the previous owner to a More Performance opti-spark Vented unit. However the vacuum harness was not used, I have been driving in rain for the last 2 days and now have idling issues which I suspect may be the opti I am looking for the following:1 A schematic of the vacuum harness connections
2 I need to find out which port on the opti is the "in" line and which is the "out line" I read a post that blowing compressed air into the “in” port could help, is this true?
3 Also can the cover & rotor be changed with out removing the whole opti unit.
Sorry to be so full of questions but as I live in the Bahamas it is impossible to find these things out without diving head first into it, as I said the opti is the new style vented unit but the lines were never installed, is it possible that because of this moisture could have more easily have gotten inside.
