I really need to get my intake powdercoated, but I like how the vette dress cleans everything up.
These were my old ones. I like them better w/ painted red lettering. The news ones have a glitter effect clear coat over them to give them a nice eye candy touch.

i get stuff at cost at the dealership, the guy on ebay has them and dealer cost is what he is selling them for, you cant really beat his price. 63.99 plus around 10 bucks shipping, you will have to go to the dealer for the hose though i havent seen it on ebay

You just have to cut that part off then. If you look at mine you can see where i had to cut some away so my fuel lines would fit. BTW i took alot of photos when i did my install and if you have aim, i can connect and send them to you if you need any. Just shoot me a pm or something since there really isn't any detailed install sites.

I'm not sure what design he's going to go w/ but when he says he's going to do something it may take him some time to get at this project but it willl happen. He's the guy who's getting a set of projector headlights made for the B-body.
from what I remember from the discussion the covers will most likely be smooth so somsone can add their own script and not have to worry about covering up words imprinted on the covers.

Since there is some interest I will figure out what the approximate cost will be for a set in carbon fiber and in fiberglass. These would be smooth covers (no lettering) since licensing is required to use any of the GM trademarks.

It initially looks like the Fuel Rail Covers would run $200 to $240 possibly less in real 100%carbon fiber. Due to the process that would be used and the type of resin there would be no clear coat used. They would be a smoothie type available with or without the louvers/slots. Also could be done in fiberglass for the people that want to paint them at a little lower cost.

Do I need to modify my alternator to fit the Corvette's black composite valve covers on my 95z. From the looks of Jon A pics, it doesn't look like I need to. Am I right

Sorry to dig up an old thread but....

I'm assuming the part numbers listed are for 94-up LT1's. Anyone have part numbers for 92-93 LT1 FRC's and hardware?
