Help, Need Opti-spark! I have 94' z28 thats been sitting for a month, waiting on an opti, but the guy fell through. Where can i get a nonremanufsctured opti fairlly cheap? Some one said in another thread awhile back that there was a guy in Florida at a dealership that sold vented and nonvented between $2oo and $3oo. I beleive his name was Cromer or something like that, dont really remember. any would be appreciated

I believe my parts guy sells the vented opti for around $215 plus shipping. The vent harness is included in that price.

thanks for the info. I need the intire unit, the car has 74k miles all, no mods, and set out in the rain for two weeks while I drove my 04' dodge 3500. I email Dal, hopefully he can get me a good deal. don't feel like forin out $600 at the local dealers around Cleveland,TX. When I get it running again I'm not going to let it set again until I at least get a garage built.

Sometimes those low-ball prices are only for '95 and up opti's that have the pin drive, not '94 and earlier with spline drive.
I have one out of my '94 that is just over a year old (~5k miles) and my new motor requires a '95+ opti. My previous opti **** itself on Nitro Dave's dyno, so I was in a big hurry and just went to the Chevy dealer and bent over. I think it was $400. Anyway, I will let it go for a lot lower than that. Keep me in mind as a reserve and let me know if these other links don't pan out.
