Default How much gained?

Im running 11.7's at 113 right now on a 2.73 rear end with a steel driveshaft and steel flexplate with a 2400 stall. How much will I gain in the quarter if I go to 3.73's with a 1Le drive shaft and an alumimum flew plate?

A decent amount, yet a 3200+ stall would benefit a lot more

I had a 3200 vig stall, and actually lost some speed on topend with the higher stall, maybe because of the 2.73 gears. The 2400 works much better with the rearend. Maybe I'll go back to the 3200 when I do the other stuff.

With 3.73s and the 3200 stall plus the less rotating mass with the lighter flexplate and drive shaft you could gain 3-5 tenth i would think.

If you plan on spraying that motor, 3.73's won't be that good of an idea being that with a 26 inch tall tire shifting at 6k you'll run out of gear at 124mph... but if you plan to always be NA than go for it.
