side exhuast
side exhuast ok i wanna do something different, i have a 93 firebird formula that i wanna put side exhaust on it and i was wondering if annyone has any pictures of a formula with side exhaust or if anyone has it and tell me anything about it thanks
It's not a bird, but my Camaro has side exit exhaust. I used aluminized 3" pipe from Summit and ovaled the tips to help clear my frame connectors. Ended up looking fairly subdued (which I like)

Couple of thing I'll be doing different next time:
It will have an x or h-pipe. Without the x or h you tend to have a chugging sound while cruising or at light load, since you're only hearing 4 cylinders. Also, the Car Chemistry insert mufflers and cuttouts are coming off and will be replaced with some dynomax bullets or some other hollow type muffler. The Car Chemistry inserts proved to be more restictive than I thought, even with no center plugs.

Mean as hell, if you didnt want to run a cat, you could find some sort of race muffler to fit under the car.
