emission legal headers?

Default emission legal headers?

i'm ready for headers but i need emission legal ones. are there any long tubes that are emission legal. if not what are the best one that are emission legal?

The meaning of emissions legal depends on where you are (what kind of tests are required, what the laws are, etc.).

Strictly speaking longtubes are not legal most places because they modify the stock cat location.

If you just mean, "can I pass an emissions test" then the answer is possibly. It depends on the type of test required, what state you are in, what headers you get, and what other mods you do (other exhaust components, if you keep cats, etc.).

i mean emissions by passing the smog test. here where the cat is has nothing to do with it as long as u have one.

pacesetters are probably your best bet if on a budget. Check out the group purchase section from time to time for great deals from various manufacturers. just keep in mind you may need to get a new cat or go dual cats with a custom y pipe since many ypipes are offroad but then again with tuning you can still pass the sniffer like that too.
