Default how much gain with LT4 conversion kit??

im thinking of doing the lt4 conversion on my stock 97 z28. i will be doing full bolt-ons as well. if you took a full bolt-on car and did the lt4 conversion (intake mainfold, heads, and hot cam or cam of similar size), what kind of gains could be expected?? now im talking about stock lt4 heads, not ported.

They say your looking at 425... at the crank... so not much for the money... youd be a lot better off building a complete motor... or just getting a nice set of LT1 heads and a nice cam.

im thinking of letting loyd elliott do either an LE1 or LE2 h/c package for me. for the money it doesnt look like u can do much better. id like to stick with my stock bottom end, just wake up the top a little. maybe have him do my intake manifold at the same time. i mean....for 1000 bucks i can have a pretty stout little h/c package!!! that will be hard to turn down. anyone know how long this should take once he gets my heads and intake??
