looking at putting the LE2 package on the ol' LT1 That Could, just wondering if my A4 is gonna hold up, I heard that package likes to shift around 6500. Also wanted to get opinions on what a TCI 3800 is gonna do as far as robbing power, shift point rpm, shift extensions, trap speed, etc etc etc.

It is a proven package and i wouldn't worry to much about were it shifts. An optimum shift point would be easily determined by getting it dynoed.

 

6500rpm+ would work the best since it peaks at about 6400-6500rpm.

sounds like the tranny will need to beefed up a bit then.

 

Joe's red beast with the Le1.5 liked 7,000rpm with a 150 shot. You should know the car i am talking about. 97 T-A,with a big ace hood ,black zr1's. 11.0 at 128mph in 4200ft DA.

 

ya i know who youre talking about. 7K rpm.....my tranny is in tears right now she's so scared, lol!!
