Default lt1 setup for 500 rwhp?

so i bought an lt1 out of a 95 formula and am going to put it in my 87 z28, but want somewhere around 500 ponies before i drop it in. i was going to get the lt1 to lt4 conversion kit from summit but that only creates 425 hp. what would be the best setup as far as new cams and boring out the heads be? im knew to this kind of stuff as i know only some minor things about engines? i also bought a t56 to go with this setup.

For 500 rwhp, youre gonna need some more displacment(stroker) and some kind of forced induction whether it be nitrous or a supercharger or turbo.

Yeah 500 rwhp would require a lot of work, but since you mentioned 425 for the LT4 kit I assume you're refering to fwhp 425 rwhp, which is achievable. You need good ported heads with a fairly large cam and very good valvetrain with a bulls eye dead on tune.
