HELP 94 z28 A4OVERHEATED ?
HELP 94 z28 A4 OVERHEATED ? my car over heated the other day i was driving and iwent into the red on the temperture gauge and when i got to a light the car shut off. like it was too hot. then it wouldn't start back up. i waited 2 hours for it to cool down then it started up for me to drive home. but when it started back up it was running real rough now. like it wanted to cut out when i had it in reverse or drive. or when i stoped at a light. did i fry some spark plugs or something when it overheated. why is it running rough now can anyone help. i just ordered a new water pump thermostat and a radiator hoping that would solve my cooling issues.WHAT DO I NEED TO REPLACE FOR IT CAN RUN GOOD AGAIN AND NOT ROUGH. NOW I CANT DRIVE IT SINCE IT OVERHEATED BECAUSE IT JUST WANTS TO CUT OFF NOW. WHAT DID I DO

the fans are still working it seems like it runs fine when its in park but when i start to drive it acts like it wants to get off. and the thermastat is blown now too. the temperture gauge just stays down don't move
Prior to this did you have the rad. cap off or did you add coolant?? If you get a air pocket you will overheat until that air pocket is removed. Those LT1s are rea touchy when it comes to reverse flow cooling...
