Gas Mileage??
Gas Mileage?? What's the average mileage for a stock LT1? I just checked mine and it was a disappointing 16.1. I was getting 21 but I went with 17" wheels with 275/40s which is about the same height so I don't think that would cause the lower mileage. Anybody have an idea?? Also how many gallon tanks does the 94s have??

my gas mileage was real bad when i bought my car, i did a tune up (plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc.) the fuel filter made the biggest difference i started getting almost 20 mpg around town and 23 on the highway in an auto with 3.23s.
It was doing pretty good umtil I changed the wheels, I'll run through another tank and see what happens. The other night while driving my car started to misfire and loose power but I still had 1/16th of gas above "E", I was able to make it to a station and it took 15.6 gal of gas. WHEW...... I don't like walking...

I think I'll change the fuel filter as soon as I get a free day.

mine is absolutly horrible. i get around 14 mpg. its a 95 m6 camaro. it has 126000 miles and a brand new cat. im thinking i need a tune up real bad. even though i dont drive it that much its still bad. any other suggestions?~baird
