car not running right - possible fuel problem? Ok well when I start my car up it will die instantly unless I give it about half of the pedal. When I press the pedal it is very very choppy then after about 2 minutes the rpms will shoot up to about 3500 or so and then it will run fine. After that I can turn it off and try to start it again and the same thing happens over and over. I just replaced the pressure regulator cause thats what I thought it could have been and it didnt help. I have also installed the new 30# injectors and a new fuel filter and it is still doing this. Any ideas guys??
my brother was having the same problem with his 94z and he spent a lot of money. the problem ended up being the ignition switch on the column under the dash. the part cost about 12 dollars so its a cheap part and could fix the problem but if not your not out a lot of money.
