Will a LS1 MAS work on an LT1?

Will a LS1 MAS work on an LT1? My buddy is having problems with his LT1 and just wondering if that would work. We're both a little pessimestic about it.

Umm not really sure about that one, all i can say is try it. If it plugs into the lt1 harness the same then i don't see why it shouldn't work. If i have mine unpluged it won't work so i guess if you plug it in and it starts it should work. But hey thats just a guess.

I think that LT1 and LS1 parts don't like each other.

You shuld be able to make them work. i have seen LT1 MAS been retrofited with litle trouble to a 3000GT/Stelth many times. i wuld say that even if they dont work it takes litle trouble to make them fit

Your problem is going to calibration, just because it fits doesn't mean it really works. The pcm needs to be programmed with tables so it can interperate the different MAF.
