Question easiest way to drop a set of headers in an f-body?

hey i got a 96 ss that im about to drop a set of long tubes in... what is the easiest way to do so?

Drop the engine and the k-member out of the car, bolt on the headers and then bolt it all back up. Helps to have a lift!

even better....


get a jack under the motor, and take out the Motor mount bolt, jack engine at agnke drop in... hears.... then do vice versa to the other side...don't tighten anything untill you have the engine back in place.

im about to put in a set af shorties is it easyer to put them in. im realy not up to loosening the engine as i have no knowlige of how to do so corectly

i jacked the engine up too. using the lift would definitely be easier but make do with what you have. have fun

I undid my motor mounts, it sucked with Jet Hot LT's but the job got done.
