help with injector size

Default help with injector size

Im doing a 383 right now on my 93 z28. i already have the 224/230 comp cam and are going to get the heads worked a little. should i go with 30 or 36 lb injectors?

a 30lb injector will support 60 hp per cylinder at 100% duty cycle. you want it to be around 80% which will be around 384 hp. with 36lb you could easily support 460hp. rough formula but at least gives you a better idea.

With a cam that small, it must be a pretty mild combination. 30lb should be fine.

don't mean to hi jack but while were on the subject.... Say my set up needs a 36lb injector and i run a 38 or 42lb will there would be a problem with tuning or a fuel issue with the set up?
