Default question about th-350 swaps

I bought a used (built) 350 trans., and im looking into buying a '93 z28 to put it into. The z has a broken 6speed, and the tranny is in the trunk. What all is needed to be purchased/done to complete this swap? thanks alot for the help.
Also, im kinda new to f-bodies....but because of the obd-1/etc. on the '93s, is the performance gonna be harder to make? Im planning on heads/cam/n20 setup, but I dont wanna buy it if it's gonna be harder on a '93.

You'll need a new crossmember I used a BMR (or modify the stocker), driveshaft unless your th350 has a 9 inch tailshaft, torque converter, hurst sells a kit that you can mount your torque arm to (thats what I used). I may have forgot a few things, but the swap is very easy.

you'll have to figure out something on the electrical end of the swap if you want to keep your speedometer. do a search and you'll find out what type of part you will need. the trans shop i delt with had an adapter to keep the 4l60 tailshaft on the th350 trans.

yea, ive been told i'll need something like that since auto cars use a tcm or something that plugs into tranny for the pcm/speedo. what problems/weakness do the '93 cars have? can i modify them to use maf cheaply?

Why would you want to add a maf? You can tune easier without one. The 93's are speeddensity. If you want 93 specific info you should check out:
