Bolt On Record-still 12.29?
Bolt On Record-still 12.29? is the record still 12.29? I thought I read where someone was trying to get it a couple of weeks ago. Did that happen?
Nov 5th I am looking for .21 reduction in ET to get the record if it is still at a 29.
I have added a rear drag sway bar, EWP, 1.6RRs and LT4 springs, and removed more weight (still got some to remove if I need to for the spring of 06

). i head to the track this sunday.... i added 4:10's, 1.6:1 rockers, LT4 springs, X-pipe with true duals, and a new tune.... along with some weight reductions i'll be happy with mid 12's current best is 13.082@108
The record has been the 11.94 pass by Sar2k over at CamaroZ28.com and has been for some time, His setup was not even that drastic and he made that pass in 30 degree weather on Slicks in a a4 with 3:73's, 3600 Vig, 1.7RR's LT's True Duels, LCA's, Reloc brackets, carbon fiber driveshaft, K-member, back seats out weighed in at 3450 I believe at a 1/4 tank of gas. Welds all around as well he cut a 1.54 60FT time 
. thats All I can think of right now. Reason be my car is Almost Identical to this one but I could car less about the bolt-on record I am building a N/A 500RWHP 396 LT4, lol.
His Times were on a 10-bolt and stock tranny with a 110,000 mile motor, lol
Do a search, BTW he said if anyone broke the record he would go for it again. His same car has Ported LT1 heads with stock valves and a big cam and makes 442RWHP on the stock shortblock with the A4 tranny

Honestly I would have expected better, a couple bolton b-bodies are running low 12s and a handful more are higher in the 12s all goes well the people at GLD will be seeing another one do it tonight and he is using shorties and a mailorder tune.
