end gears

how can i see if a car has 3.23 gears or 2.71? without having to check it the hard way

look in the glove box for the rpo codes

gu1 2.41
gu2 2.73

Can't you also tell by what the lowest gear you can put the shifter in is? If you can put it down in 1 then you have 3.23s and if you can only go down to 2 then you have 2.73s.
