local machine shop? or loyd elliot?
local machine shop? or loyd elliot? the local machine shop said they can port my heads for 500 dollars.. loyd elliot said like 800 or something like that.. to have loyd do them u would have to ship them. he quoted me 1500 to port the heads match the intake and custom grind me a cam..what should i do?
1.have local machine shop port my heads and buy a cc306
2.send my heads and intake to loyd elliot and have him do everything?
which would i expect more power from?

In all honesty what if your budget allows for Lloyd Elliot to do the work then do it. Now on the other hand how proven is the local machine shop ? How is the quality of there work ? These are just a couple of things to ask but they could be very good just not well known ! But if all else fails just pay the price and have Lloyd Elliott do them because it will create a greater peace of mind for you and 99 % chance they will out perform the local guys experience is a great thing.
