11sec on LT1 ,what is needed?

Default 11sec on LT1 ,what is needed?

i just finished a LT1 swap into my 1986 Mustang I used everything from a 1997 camaro , im using a 150shot nitrous , throttle body spacer and headers , what else I need to be able to do 11sec pass , On the suspension I just fabricated a set of traction bars and a torque bar tubular replacement as well.. the weigh of the car is 2800lbs completly gutted... would I be able to hit my mark o what else I can do to the engine?

How much HP the stock crank will handle? using Nitrous

i would think with that setup you should already be in the 11s on the bottle. with your weight and ~400rwhp traction is the only thing stopping you. of course you could also go ahead and do a h/c swap if you really wanted to have some fun

I agree, if your not already into the 11's with the nitrous then you have some problems. I wouldn't worry about the stock crank while using nitrous i would worry about the pistons 1st but if your nitrous is set-up correctly with all the right saftey cautions you should be ok.

On the gas as long as it hooks good, it should be deep 11s. Fox bodies are light to begin with, heads cam and gas should make enough power for deep *** 10s.

I would recommend some subframe connectors and good dragrace type struts and shocks to help you hook.

I suppose low gears, slicks, etc. would be nice to have if you don't have them already.

11's in that car should be a breeze on the jug..... 150 shot on the stock crank is fine, pistons and rods are the weaker parts, but set up right u will be fine.

Im getting excited to drive the car just to hear that !!!

I have a set of 28inch M/T for the car already , the sub frame connectors should not be a problem I can fabricate a set ...I forgot to mention Im not using A/C nor P/S either just the alternator and will be running C16 fuel.
If I decide to Build the bottom end witch will be a perfect place to purchase Pistons Rods and a Cam kit for the LT1 I would want to spray around 300 shot two stagged..
