Default need help please look

so i went to turn on my car this morning, and it started weird like a popping sound and a sputtering....then i warmed it up and i was feeling weird the wniter time so i put it in reverse and it is souning really bad...the only way to discrpe it other than u guys hearing it it was almost liike hestitaing, and choking...felt like somtihgn was holding it back...also the tranny was not shifting untill 3k rpms every gear....i dont know what it is i have a cam on a 108 LSA with a tune throuhg a burned chip...could this be becasue the chip?....it was driving fine last night and all of a sudden bam its messed up today....i really need some help on this one... maybe opti?...any iput please add

I don't know about your trany not shifting since it isn't controled by the pcm on a 93 from what I understand. but about the popping, it could be your opti, or more likely your cap and rotor, but it could even be another sensor.

It's not your tranny. If it was the trans, the motor would run fine. Was it raining out the day you went to start it? Could need wires, or an opti from what it sounds like. Any SES light?

no its was not raining....also yes i have a ses light on..but i alwsy havce one on...secondi have head of a throttle cable getitnig stuck down and that can cause the tranny to act that way...any input on that one?....i am going to check the plugs and wires..also its a stock opti, at 91k

Scan it for codes and see if you get a new one. That can usually point you in the right direction. BTW, my stock opti failed at 104,xxx miles.

my opti failed at 38k. Do a tune up and go from there. Also if you have a ses light on, wouldn't it make sense to have it checked out before you start throwing parts at it.
